Operating Within the Rules of the Game
Every affiliate network, with Amazon Associates being the most prominent, operates under a specific “Operating Agreement” or “Terms of Service.” These are legal contracts between you (the associate) and the network.
DripBox is a third-party tool and is not a party to those agreements. Consequently, DripBox cannot monitor, enforce, or guarantee your compliance with these ever-changing policies.
The Complexity of Compliance:
Affiliate rules are often complex and vary significantly by region. For example, some networks prohibit the use of affiliate links in PDF documents, while others have strict rules about “cloaking” links or using them in private emails.
Amazon specifically requires a very clear “Associate Disclosure” to be visible on any page that contains their links.
While DripBox helps you display links beautifully, it is your responsibility to ensure that your site as a whole—including your disclosures and link behavior—meets these requirements.
Proactive Policy Management:
DripBox is designed to support legitimate affiliate publishing workflows. We do not include features that intentionally bypass network restrictions or “trick” the networks into recording invalid clicks. However, the misuse of our layout features (such as hiding required disclosure text, displaying fabricated stock levels, or misrepresenting product availability or pricing from the merchant’s site) is a violation of most network policies.
Affiliate account issues may arise from violations related to disclosures, traffic sources, content practices, link usage, or asset handling. We encourage all DripBox users to review the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement and other relevant affiliate-network policies on a regular basis.
Your success depends on your ability to use professional tools like DripBox while staying strictly within the legal and ethical boundaries set by your affiliate partners.
