Who we are
Our website address is: http://getdripbox.com.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the data collection practices of DripBox (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing, installing, or using the DripBox WordPress Plugin (“Software”) or visiting getdripbox.com, you agree to the practices described herein.
If you do not agree with this policy, please uninstall the Software immediately.
2. Information We Collect
Unlike traditional static software, DripBox is a connected application that communicates with our servers in the United States. We collect the following categories of information:
A. Automatic Telemetry Data (From Your WordPress Site) To validate your license and provide the “Global Command” analytics dashboard, the Software automatically transmits:
- License Information: License key, domain URL, and activation status.
- Aggregate Performance Metrics: View counts, click counts, template usage (e.g., “Mag” vs. “Horizontal”), and platform interaction data (e.g., clicks on Amazon buttons).
- System Data: WordPress version and PHP version (for debugging and compatibility).
- NO END-USER PII: We DO NOT collect personally identifiable information (PII) from the visitors of your website (e.g., we do not track your visitors’ IP addresses or browsing history).
B. Purchase & Account Information When you purchase a license via our payment processors, including Stripe, Digistore24, BuyGoods, Amazon or other authorized payment providers, we collect:
- Identity Data: Name and Email address.
- Transaction Data: Purchase date, Order ID, and Plan details.
- Financial Data: We do not store credit card numbers. All payment data is processed by our secure third-party vendors.
C. Marketing & Tracking Technologies (Pixels) To improve our marketing and deliver relevant advertisements to you, we use tracking technologies on our website (getdripbox.com), including:
- Pixels & Web Beacons: We use tools such as the Meta Pixel (Facebook) and Google Ads Tag. These allow us to track conversions and serve “Remarketing” ads to you on third-party platforms after you visit our site.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze traffic sources and user behavior. This data is aggregated and anonymized.
D. Server Log Files Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically collect data transmitted by your browser and store it in “Server Log Files”. This includes:
- Browser type and version, Operating System, and Referrer URL.
- Time of the server request and Hostname.
- IP Address: Used strictly for security auditing, fraud prevention, and diagnosing server errors. These logs are not combined with other data sources to build user profiles.
- Server log data, including IP addresses, is retained only for as long as necessary for security, fraud prevention, and system integrity, and is periodically deleted.
3. Tracking Technologies & Marketing (Transparency Disclosure) We use third-party tracking tools to market our products and analyze website traffic. We believe in full transparency regarding how these tools work:
A. Google Analytics & Remarketing We use Google Analytics to analyze user behavior on getdripbox.com.
- Remarketing: We utilize Google AdWords Remarketing features. This allows us to display relevant DripBox ads to you on other websites across the Internet after you have visited our site.
- How it works: Google places a cookie on your browser to identify you as a previous visitor. This data is used solely to tailor our advertising to your interests.
B. Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Custom Audiences We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- Custom Audiences: We may use your email address or browsing behavior (hashed and anonymized) to create “Custom Audiences” on Facebook. This allows us to show ads to people who are similar to our existing customers (Lookalike Audiences) or to retarget you with offers.
- Opt-Out: You can adjust your ad preferences directly in your Facebook Ad Settings.
C. Cookies We use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of our site (like the checkout) may not work properly.
D. Email Newsletter & Web Beacons If you subscribe to our newsletter or purchase a license, we will send you emails using a service provider (e.g., SendGrid/Mailgun).
- Tracking: Our emails may contain “web beacons” (tiny, invisible images) that allow us to know if you opened the email and which links you clicked.
- Purpose: We use this data to improve our content strategy and avoid sending you irrelevant emails. If you do not wish to be tracked, you may unsubscribe from our mailing list at the bottom of any email.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for legitimate business purposes under US law:
- License Enforcement: To verify that your license is valid and not pirated or refunded.
- Service Delivery: To generate the analytics reports you see in your dashboard.
- Communication: To send transactional emails (receipts, license keys) and critical security updates.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with tax laws and respond to valid legal processes.
5. Creation of De-Identified Data (Data Ownership)
We may create de-identified or aggregated data records from your personal information and Software telemetry by excluding information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. DripBox retains all rights, title, and interest in this aggregated data. We may use it for any business purpose, including:
- Generating industry benchmarks (e.g., “Global CTR Reports”).
- Improving Software algorithms and template performance.
- Publishing case studies or marketing materials (without revealing your identity).
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data (“Sell” as defined by Nevada or California law). We only share data with service providers strictly necessary to operate our business:
- Infrastructure: AWS / DigitalOcean (Server hosting & database).
- Payment Processing: Stripe, Digistore24, BuyGoods (Secure transaction handling).
- Analytics & Ads: Google (Analytics/Ads), Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads).
- Communication: [Seu provedor de email, ex: Mailgun/SendGrid] (Transactional emails).
- For California residents, we do not sell personal information as defined under the CPRA. Certain advertising activities may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, as permitted by law.
7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights:
- Right to Know: You may request details about the categories of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., data required for tax records or license validation).
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, email us at support@getdripbox.com. Note that requesting deletion of your data will result in the termination of your license key.
8. CalOPPA Disclosure (Do Not Track)
Our website and Software do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals from web browsers. We do not track your browsing activity across third-party websites.
9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
